Vision’s construction operations, The James Group, Inc., “JGI” was founded by Rob Barfield in 1990. Under Rob’s leadership the company grew and was consistently ranked as a top 25 commercial contractor by the Atlanta business Chronicle. In 2007, JGI merged with Vision’s development operation to strengthen its brand. Rob oversees all Development Planning, Design & Construction activities. Offering a hands-on approach in partnering with Vision’s clients, Rob prefers being on site and in the dust and dirt making it happen one brick at a time.

Brian co-founded Vision’s Development Operations in 2001, and since, he has been actively involved in creating Vision’s next evolution of development & construction. His extensive knowledge and practical experience in Debt & Equity placement, Deal Structure, Business modeling & general economics give Vision’s clients an edge in planning & executing future endeavors. Brian is currently working with several of Vision’s clients to expand their brands with business modeling, structure & multi-unit site development.
Director of Business Development
A dynamic Sales Expansion Executive with 18+ years of experience in Profitability Growth, Strategic Analysis, Account Management, Contract Negotiation and Management, Consultative Selling, and Client Retention. Maggie provides individualized service to grow a loyal client base in a competitive marketplace resulting in lasting and mutually beneficial relationships.
Prior to joining Vision Construction in 2015, Maggie led the Sales and Client Development group for iCare Financial for 6+ years. She started her experience in the Construction Development space while with Game Day Centers in 2003 creating luxury sports condominiums. While there she led the marketing and business growth strategy for the construction of 10 condominium properties at major universities across the Southeast.
Business Development & Sales
Commercial Business Development: Creating and implementing both traditional and non-traditional business funnels for acquiring negotiated commercial construction projects up to $20 million as well as representing Vision’s interests with associations, boards, chambers, and political affiliations.
Banking and Construction Loan Development Liaison: Foster partnerships with the banking industry to better serve Vision clients as well as bank partners customers with regard to business expansion strategy, commercial construction loan approval, and construction management services.
General Contracting Development Liaison: Foster partnerships with independent General Contractors to better serve Vision’s growing base of negotiated work.
Expansion and Equity Acquisition Team: Develop and foster relationships with equity investors. Facilitate Vision’s growth and expansion through the acquisition of Healthy commercial construction companies that meet Vision’s specific criteria for growth throughout the US.
